The highest-ranking candidates are invited to apply for permanent residency through regular Express Entry draws, which occur approximately every two weeks. Candidates who receive an invitation to apply (ITA) have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residency.

To be eligible for Express Entry, individuals must first meet the eligibility requirements for one of the three federal economic immigration programs.
